The DFKI and dev.house are working together to develop AI solutions. As part of the CITAH EU-project (“Cross-Industry Transformation in Agriculture and Health”), we are jointly developing an AI prototype to tackle the challenges of digital transformation and offer innovative AI applications. 

As a project partner, DFKI provides us with extensive artificial intelligence expertise. In addition to intensive collaboration, the selection and design of suitable AI models and methods, and the DFKI team's support in the implementation and use of AI, this collaboration enables us to develop AI prototypes together following the “Test-Before-Invest” approach, allowing us to validate and test the feasibility of our ideas before further developing them within our company.  

Together, we work on realistic concepts for our use cases, analyze and provide relevant data for training the AI models, and validate the diverse application possibilities. Building on this, we create initial testbed development and feasibility studies to either develop AI prototypes or determine the realistic scope of further research. 

At the heart of our collaboration is the testbed development. Here, we implement AI applications as prototypes. The goal, following the “Test-Before-Invest” principle, is to assess the technical feasibility of an AI use case and the quality of results that can be expected. We are very excited about the final outcomes.
